unless you are an experienced traveler don't go to India. or if you go prepare to suffer. this is not to discourage you, but you need to know that India is not America or Europe or wherever, it's India and you must be a strong person to live through it.

Hi polly,
Please don’t afraid. India is not a dangerous and difficult country as you think. This is definitely worth it, India is a beautiful country, rich with heritage and food, culture and people. Every thing is there like TajMahal, Himalya, Deserts, Beaches, Yoga-Meditation ect. I would really recommend everyone to go, it is an experience!
Tipps to stay healthy, do…
? Wash hands often with soap and water.
? Drink only bottled or boiled water, or carbonated (bubbly) drinks in cans or bottles.
? Eat only cooked food or fruits and vegetables.
? Protect yourself from mosquito bites.
? To prevent fungal and parasitic infections, keep feet clean and dry, and do not go barefoot.
What you need to bring with you:
? Sunblock, sunglasses, hat

Hi I know that i am replying to a very old thread, but i would say that India is not a country to be visited, Just a wastage of time. Once i also wasted my time and money,,too ugly, dirty, poorness, pollution and population everywhere. No one can feel happy to go to India. Better to stay at home.

India is a country of beauty and diversity.
It is the ultimate tourist destination. Be it the snow-capped mountains in Himalayas or Kashmir,
which is called the paradise on the earth for its breathtaking beauty, or the Taj, which looks like a beautiful pearl on this earth.
Every part of India offers something new to every traveler,
be it architecture, ancient culture, cuisine, nature,
hills, adventure sports, hiking, water sport or simple solace.
There is no other country on this universe, which offers so many varieties. It is a heaven for any tourist who comes to discover and get the beautiful experiences for a lifetime. _________________ Backpack |

Even when it comes to spirituality, there are a number of best places to visit in India. Remember, when it comes to sanctity, even a grain of sand is considered holy in this ‘Land of Dharma’. Religious destinations in India present an opportunity for travelers to see India inside-out. Though we have stepped into the 21st century with all the modern developments, religion is still oxygen to Indians. While you visit these best destinations in India, there is but one rule : Get out there, set yourself free and explore! _________________ Cyprus Holidays
