Muztagh Ata climbing team is going to be reorganized

To commemorate 50 years of anniversary of being conquered Muztagh Ata peak , Xinjiang Uygur autonomous regional government is going to reorganize climbing expedition group. The members would be selected among domestic and overseas experienced climbers,it starts 30 July ends 19 august .

Chinese and Sovet union’s climbing group which composed of 31 rmembers ,first time got the Muztagh Ata peak in 31 July 1956 at 12:00,( 7546m above elevation) . since than on Muztagh Ata every year attracting many climb mountain fans with its unique and charming scenery. It already has been became cradle of climbers.

Muztagh Ata mountain ,7546 (means father of mountains in Uygur language ) is located between Aktu county and Tashkorghan county . 200 km away from Kashkar city .it is the third highest mountain of the Western Kun-Lun. This two-headed icy giant is located near Karakul Lake and the Karakoram . Highway, the main road running from the city of Kashgar to Pakistan. Because of its proximity to the highway, the mountain is easily approached and attracts many climbers. Muztagh Ata mountain is kind of dangerous and weather changing is too complicated, you can see four season in a day there.
