Two weeks ago I came back from Colombia. I had a very good time. Before the trip everybody said that Cartagena would be the most interesting place to visit. But Leticia ended up being the absolut highlight in my trip.
I was planing to stay 4 days but ended staying there 3 weeks. I enrolled on a Spanish course at The Amazon Spanish College see http://www.amazonspanishcollege.com/
It was perfect! Becouse the course included many cultural activities and I really came close to the local community and met many people. The river, the wildlife, such as the pink dolphins and the birds wer stunning! I did a lot of trips to the rainforest. I can certainly recommend this if you want to see something more than Cartagena and different to most other destinations in the world..........
