Hola!
We are a family planning to travel to Argentina for a period of one year to get to know the country and it's people. We would also like to visit Bolivia... So the big question now is: do we buy a car in Argentina or do we travel by bus around the country?
Our children will be 9 and 4 at the time of the trip.
All information is welcome! Thank you! |

Argentina is a very big country and sometimes the distance between cities can be very big. Trips by bus last generally minimum 12h in Patagonia and can last up to 22 or 23h... It can be quite difficult considering you depend entirely on the schedule and routes put forward by the bus company.
If you travel by car, you must know that most roads in Patagonia are not in a very good shape and often it's off-road instead of asphalt. On the other hand you can go where you want, stop wherever you want and travel as you like which is not a bad thing with children!
Whey your options! |
