When my first cat died, I couldn't get over it. After a while it became really quite in my house and I decided to buy another one. When I bought one, I couldn't think of a good name, but I really want something special with a real meaning behind it.
My friend has been a volunteer in Venezuela a few years ago so I asked her for advice. I thought that she might have some ideas for a 'nombre de gato' in Spanish or something. I'm thinking about it now for like more than a month and I really need more ideas. My cat is already walking around in my house for 2 weeks without a name! Has anyone have some ideas? |

you guys can't think of a name. I cant too u didnt mention if your cat is a girly cat or a male cat?

When looking for suitable cat names for your new kitty keep in mind this T.S.Eliot quote from Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats, The Naming of Cats
But I tell you, a cat needs a name that's particular,
A name that's peculiar, and more dignified,
Else how can he keep up his tail perpendicular,
Or spread out his whiskers, or cherish his pride?
here are or course many routes you can take to finding the right name that will suit your pet. You could:
* Give them a human name like Tina or Fred
* Name them after a particular characteristic they may have i.e. Fluffy or Butch
* Name them after their personality traits i.e. Trouble or Mischief
* Name them after a cartoon character i.e. Garfield or Top cat
* A name that is associated with their particular breed i.e. oriental names for say a Japanese Bobtail.
* Name them after a famous hero or King or Queen from history.
